Generational trauma is unresolved thoughts, feelings, and behaviours inherited from our parents. These unresolved traumas result from past situations of emotional overwhelm when one of your ancestors was emotionally unable to handle a critical situation at the time it happened.
The unprocessed experience remains embedded in the psyche and is passed down through epigenetic inheritance.
Generational trauma is widespread. I would go so far as to say everyone has some.
“Michael illuminates the entire situation in ways that are understandable and actionable. He has jet-fuelled my healing.”
